Local business makes a move

Prairie Independent Living Resource Center, Inc., may be one of the greatest unknown businesses in Dodge City.

"Our office used to be in the basement at Village Square Mall," said Tasha Kondrade, services coordinator for the non-profit. "We had four of us in a small office.

"The move allows us to look out a window and see the sun."

Recently the business moved downtown, opening its new office at 207 West Spruce Street.

"We moved about a month and a half ago," Kondrade said. "It gives us more space, privacy for when it’s needed."
