Cloud County Community College Recognizes Industry Partners

    December 29, 2016

Cloud County Community College recognized nine businesses with Kansas Board of Regents Employer Engagement Initiative awards during a ceremony Friday, Dec. 9.

Launched in 2013, the KBOR Employer Engagement Initiative recognizes business and industry partnerships with education. The initiative provides a platform for community and technical colleges to recognize key employers for contributions to the institution, program and students.

Colleges nominate employers at one of three levels -- supporter, partner and champion. Each level carries a different distinction, as well as different levels of contribution to a program by the employer.

Cloud County nominated nine businesses involved in its nursing, agriculture and wind energy technology programs.
