The Kansas Small Business Development Center is an accredited network of SBDCs that help communities by supporting the success of their small businesses. FHSU is host to the Lead Center as well as the Western Kansas Super Region which provides services and programming for 51 counties in Western and North Central Kansas. We help Economic Development Organizations, and Chamber Directors increase their tax base, retain businesses, grow employment, and develop their entrepreneurial ecosystems.
- Due to our grant funding, we are able to provide knowledgeable, confidential, business advising at no cost to business owners and prospective business owners at any stage.
- We offer workshops, webinars, and programming to help business owners, entrepreneurs, and community members access education and resources on special topics to help them pursue opportunities and overcome risks. We provide workshops covering numerous topics that can be customized to meet the needs of your business community.
