Building confident young entrepreneurs
November 14, 2016
An analysis by the Wall Street Journal shows that the number of young people starting businesses has reached a 24-year-low. This is worrisome because new businesses and ideas tend to spark overall innovation in our society.
One reason behind this downward trend may be fear of failure. While it’s true that young people may not immediately have all the requisite skills and experience to succeed when starting a business venture, it’s important for them to know that help is available.
Nex-Generation Round Up for Youth is a nonprofit that funds internships, scholarships, career development and entrepreneurship programs for youth in northwest and north central Kansas. Find out more about how this organization is helping inspire young students.
