    2016 YEAR IN REVIEW: The Broadway Plaza, a New Programmable Public Event Space, Opens in Downtown Concordia

    From December 19th through January 3rd, KNCK News will take a look back at 2016, recapping the top stories, events, and more from the year that was.

    On September 23, 2016, the Concordia community gathered for the Grand Opening Celebration of the Broadway Plaza, a new outdoor programmable public event space at the corner of 6th and Broadway Streets in downtown Concordia. The opening, which was held the night before Concordia's Annual Fall Fest celebration, occurred eight months after the City of Concordia broke ground on the project.
