    Central Care Cancer Center recognized

    December 29, 2016

Central Care Cancer Center has received the Champion of Farmworkers Award from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment, Kansas Statewide Farmworker Health Program. The KSFHP is a voucher program that helps uninsured and underinsured migrant and seasonal farmworkers in Kansas obtain access to medical care.

Dr. Claudia Perez-Tamayo, president of Central Care Cancer Center, thanked the organization for the award.

“Without KSFH and our allegiance, we could not serve the community that we pledge to do. We will always give the best of what we have without reservations and never ask about insurance when we are planning the patient’s health. We are blessed to have organizations support and very happy to serve the community,” she said.
