Thirty Thomas, Riley And Pottawatomie County Residents Participate In Ice House Entrepreneurship Program

    December 29, 2016

Thomas County Economic Development Alliance, Manhattan Area Chamber of Commerce and Pottawatomie County Economic Development Corporation, in association with the Network Kansas E-Community Partnership, hosted the Ice House Entrepreneurship Program in Colby and Manhattan this fall. Twelve participants from Thomas County and eighteen participants from Riley and Pottawatomie Counties attended the course. The course teaches participants to develop an entrepreneurial mindset.

"Becoming an entrepreneur can be isolating and as companies grow, it can take a toll on the founders. I think this program will have ripple effects for the rest of the Manhattan and Wamego communities," said Ted Kriwiel, NetWork Kansas Metropolitan E-Community Coach. Ted worked with the Riley County E-Community to bring the class to Manhattan.
