Cloud County Health Center Launches Fundraising Campaign To Support New Urgent Care/Stat Care Clinic In Concordia

    May 1, 2017

Cloud County Health Center President of Operations Cherri Waites has announced the start of a fundraising campaign to establish an urgent care/stat care clinic on US Highway 81 in Concordia.

The planned urgent care clinic would be a dedicated medical facility away from the Family Care Center and the Cloud County Health Center in Concordia that would primarily treat injuries or illnesses requiring immediate care, but don't require a visit to the emergency room.

The hospital's goal is to have the clinic open 12-hours a day, 7-days a week. No determination has been made on an exact location for the clinic. Hours of operation and staffing also remain undecided.

The Cloud County Health Center Board of Directors have tasked Waites with raising $875,000 to support the build of a new clinic in Concordia.
